SUMMARY:
This article talks about the different things that happen in the daily life of Malaysia. It talks about food, such as fresh baked cookies, and fish cakes, dyed pink and in the shape of a lotus flower. It also talked about the abundance of Mosques in the area, and the extreme abundance of Chinese and Indian traders along the country's west coast. The mixture of foreign and Malay cultures makes up Malaysia, such as the foreign traders bringing things from different worlds to be integrated into the country.
RESPONSE:
I am moved by the beauty of the things described in this article. Malaysia sounds like a sort of paradise for the hungry eyes and the hungry stomach. A mix of cultures, somewhat similar to America but all the more beautiful sounds appealing. It's underrated, and therefore probably has a lot less tourists so it may not be acquainted for them, but it sounds beautiful to go to all the same. The lotus-shaped fish cakes are also very interesting, and I wonder also what other types of food they have there.
